fi[x]in Web is an open beta at ams-fixin.com. Nothing to install: open a tab, drop in a photo, get a diagnosis. It exists because some repairs simply don't happen with a phone in your hand — under a car, elbow-deep in a bilge, or at a bench with a laptop already open.
A browser can't run fi[x]in's on-device engines, so a photo scanned on the web is classified on our servers instead. Your account is shared with the apps: the diagnoses your phone backed up show up here, and worksheets sync both ways.
Offline diagnosis and on-device inference are native-only, and so are parts and tools, recall lookup, and the OBD-II reader. A browser has to upload the photo to diagnose it, and we would rather say that plainly than blur the difference. If privacy is the reason you're here, use the app.
Basic is free, and the roadmap is still soft. Feedback from people who fix things for a living moves it faster than anything else we do.
